Hi, I’m Veronica
I started working for Medrwn Môn in August 2019 as the Local Asset Coordinator (LAC) for Holyhead and the surrounding areas.
In my role, I support people who are looking for a bit of extra help to reconnect with their communities. This could be anyone experiencing social isolation, low confidence, physical health challenges, or simply wanting information and guidance to improve their wellbeing.
I help individuals find local activities, groups, and community services that match their interests — supporting them to build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
I really enjoy meeting new people and helping them discover new ways to connect with others. My work is guided by five simple things that can make a big difference to our wellbeing:
-
Take Notice – Take time for yourself, notice the world around you, and savour the moment.
-
Connect – Make time for friends and family to enrich your day.
-
Be Active – Move in a way that feels good — walk, dance, sing, run, or cycle.
-
Keep Learning – Try something new; learning is fun and builds confidence.
-
Give – Acts of kindness, helping others, or volunteering can bring happiness — give it a go!
