Hello, I’m Sian, and I’ve recently joined the team as a Community Link Officer. My role is all about connecting with people across the Island — children, young people, and adults alike — to help them feel heard, supported, and valued.

I see myself as the friendly first point of contact for anyone who comes to us, taking time to listen, understand their story, and explore what matters most to them — their interests, passions, and hopes for the future. Many of the people I meet are referred to us during challenging times, so I always approach each conversation with warmth, patience, and empathy.

A big part of my role is also bringing people together. I help coordinate wonderful volunteers through our Car Linc service, making sure Island residents can get to important appointments or enjoy their weekly shop — while our volunteers experience the joy of knowing they’re making a real difference.

Working with Medrwn has shown me how powerful community can be. Every day confirms what I’ve always believed — that my purpose is to support, connect, and uplift people in any way I can.
