Hello, my name is Gemma Jones and I am the Volunteering Support Officer here at Medrwn Mon. I started working in partnership with Medrwn Mon in October 2024. I am working part time, which is Monday - Wednesday. My role as a Volunteering Supporting Officer includes connecting people, communities and opportunities across whole of Anglesey and different branches across the UK around volunteering opportunities, support and recruitments. 

I am passionate about empowering communities and helping people realise the positive difference they can make through volunteering. From organising volunteer fairs to supporting volunteer led projects (grants), my aim is to make volunteering on the island is inclusive, sustainable and thriving. 

I also help organisations promote their opportunities through our volunteering platform Connect Anglesey, making it easier to connect with people who wants to get involved. Whether a organisation is just starting out or has an established volunteer base, I'm here to provide ongoing support, share resources and help build confidence in managing volunteers effectively.
